Mucus & blood during first trimester
    a87sewell posted:
    Hi all!

I am 6 weeks pregnant with my second child, my son was 7 weeks early due to severe pre-eclampsia. I know that spotting especially during the first trimester is normal but I am concerned because after wiping after urination today I had mucus with blood spots. I have had moderate cramping for about 2-3 weeks off and on. Any ideas? I'm waiting for the doctor to call but the nurse didn't sound very concerned, I however am. My doctor has yet to see me, my first appt is scheduled 9/7
