I'm currently 25 weeks pregnant, and I shocked myself this morning on the wire to my hair iron. Is this going to harm my baby? I've felt him kick a few times since then, but this is my first child and I'm paranoid!

If it was just a mild shock, you should be fine.

If you are still kicking which I assume you are since you are writing this email, then the baby is fine. If you received a significant shock in which you were harmed greatly, then maybe.

I would suggest you get rid of your hair iron and get one safer.
