I am 26 weeks and I know what ur going threw. I am not having issues with the sent of my man but most other men I do. I can be around my dad for more then a few min without gagging. There really isnt anything u can do about it. once the baby has come and your hormones are back to normal you should be fine again. I hope.

It is well known women who are pregnant will have all sorts of "weird" experiences with smells. This is the first I have heard where a woman had aversions to her own significant other.

I don't have much advice for you. Hang in there. Maybe you can have him use a different soap, different cologne.

I wish you the best with this interesting issue.

Food tasted weird to me for the first 2 trimesters. I just hit 28 weeks and I can just now eat Jelly Belly buttered popcorn jelly beans again. I know lots of women who were really sick during their pregnancies because of certain smells.

It's not just you. I am 18 weeks and my husband has been smelling bad to me for several weeks now. Even right after taking a shower or brushing his teeth he stinks to me. It happened to my boss's wife when she was pregnant too. I just try to ignore the stink as much as possible since I know it's not him, but me and these crazy hormones!

I cannot stand the smell of my dog and sadly, I cannot even stand my own scent at times. And I am only at 8 weeks.

I know how you feel, this is my seventh pregnancy and i never before had this problem, but now i am going out of my mind. Everybody,in my household including my dear husband smells . They all have to brush their teeth , everytime they get near me. I guess each pregnancy is different and each person has different reactions, hopefully this too shall pass.

I experienced the same thing during my first pregnancy 8 yrs ago. I am now on my 2nd pregnancy and are also experiencing the same aversion to my husbands smell! The first time this symptom followed me through my whole pregnancy up until I gave birth. This time, in order to even have my husband near me, I take a little drop of peppermint oil and sniff that under my nose. Seems to work for "other unpleasant odors".
