HCG LEVELS

went to my first prenatal visit and i was 8 weeks and 4 days the doc did a ultrasound and the baby was measuring 6 weeks so he sent me for hcg bloodwork and my first results was 13000 and 48 hours later i tested 12000 since my levels didnt double he said i would have a miscarriage soon but he aint check for a heartbeat and i havnt been cramping or bleeding so is this so?????

Did your doctor schedule a follow-up exam with you or more blood work? I am not an expert, but falling hcg levels are never a good sign. I am so sorry. I experienced this in September and the outcome was not good for me. (((gentle hugs))) I hope the opposite happens for you.
