Am I just sick?

Hi,
I was suppose to start my period on 5/4. I didn't have any cramping when I was suppose to start my period but about 4 days later I started to get what felt like menstrual cramps. I thought I would start my period soon since I started to get cramps. More days passed without a period. I always have a very regular period so after being late 8 days I decided I better take a pregnancy test. The test came out negative. Two more days passed without getting my period. On the tenth day of not have a period I had terrible cramping and my period started(5/14). It was really light at first but that evening it got really heavy (dark red in color). My period only lasted two days (normally it is 4 days and then one light day). I am having terrible stomach pain and cramping on and off throughout the day. I get it in my lower abdominal area and surprisingly in my upper stomach. I have not been able to get good sleep for over a week because I feel like I can't get comfortable. I've also been getting slight headaches just about everyday. Since I took a pregnancy test and it said negative and I don't have any breast soreness or food cravings, Do you think i'm pregnant even though I had a negative test and had a period, or am I sick? Any suggestions? Thanks for your time!

I don't believe you are pregnant. Your period just may have been late and shorter due to stress, illness or some other reason.
