No Luck With Clomid - Already have 2 Children - Very Discouraged

I am 30 years old, and have a 9 year old son and a 5 year old daughter from a previous marriage. My husband is 33 and also has two children from a previous marriage, they are 12 and 10 years old. He was diagnosed with type one diabetes a few years ago after he has his children, but he does well and manages his health well. We started trying to convieve a year ago and after several months I began to worry because I had never had any issues getting pregnant before. We ended up having him tested and all of his results came back normal. I also had the dye injected into my tubes just to make sure there were no blockages causing a problem, and everything was fine. We also just got done with three cycles of clomid with no luck. This last cycle was only 21 days long, and seems like it has gotten shorter with each cycle and I am usually more of a 30-32 day cycle length. I am planning to call my OBGYN on Tuesday and see what she has in store. But I am just so confused and wondering what we are doing wrong or what to do. It is definatley not a lack of trying or missing the timing as we are pretty regular at every other day. I tried the last two cycles to not think about it but it obviously didn't work. Looking for any help.

I am too on Clomid. It might be that your not on a high enough dose. They might need to up your dose or add another med along with Clomid. or Clomid might jsut not do the trick. From what my Ob told me, We would start on a low dose of 50 MG. If in a month, I wasn't pregnant or hadn't seen a change in temp to show ovulation, he would increase to 100.. then 150.. if still no luck we would need to move into IUI.
I would call and talk with your doctor. They definitely don't want ot keep you on clomid for more than 6 months I was told and it only has a 50% chance of working.
