I'm a late 31 weeks and I just saw my Doc this afternoon for my monthly appt. I had some bright red blood on the TP when I was doing the urine test and so I asked my doc if all was ok. Did an ultrasound to look at my cervex and I'm already dialated to 2cm and 50%. He said I more than likely have lost my plug and didn't seem too concerned, but I can't stop wondering about it. Please reasure my crazy brain that we are all good. This is our first, so I'm very much on edge.

well i dont have good news! i started dialating at 23 1/2 weeks and 3 days later i had my baby boy. He lived for 3 days and passed away it was my first child. actually it happend feb 20th 2012 i guess it all depends on your body and if it thinks your ready to have the kid. mine on the other hand was because of a doctor who refused to do a blood test when i was in ubber pain..... turns out i was pregnant with appendicitis and it ruptured and i was in sepsis and almost died. i hope it help but look at it this way at least your close enough to your due date your child should be fine just a month in nicu at most

I am sorry to hear this. I hope that everything goes alright for you. Please let us know. If you can at least hold it in for another couple weeks, your baby should be fine.
