Factor V Leiden, Pregnancy, Injections

Hi,

I'm new to this community and newly diagnosed with Factor V Leiden after several clotting episodes. My husband and I have been discussing pregnancy and I've been made aware that this would consist of Lovenox injections. I've already had to go through a week of these while starting my Coumadin regimen and was told to give the injections in my stomach.

So now, I'm wondering how this works while pregnant? Are the injections still given through the stomach? What about after the belly grows and the skin stretches? Do you run out of areas to give them? I was told to rotate my injection sites to give them time to heal and I don't see how that's possible over a 9 month stretch! Anyone who has experienced this and could provide some insight, please help! As much guidance as the doctors try to provide me with, I'd feel a little more comfortable hearing it from someone who's experienced it first hand.

Thanks in advance!!
