Drank while unknowingly pregnant: Gastrulation phase and CONCERNED

Hi, I'm feeling crushed with anxiety because my wife and I attended a wedding and each had 3-4 drinks throughout the evening. It was our first month of trying to conceive and we took a pregnancy test every other day around the time she expected her period without a positive result so we thought we would try again next month. Two days later we got a positive test.

I've read a ton of discussion boards saying not to worry about it but I'm specifically concerned after having read about neural tube formation during the gastrulation phase which occurs around 3 weeks from conception and how this is perhaps the highest risk time for alcohol exposure.

Now that we know she is pregnant, we figure she drank between 3-4 weeks from conception and now we are very concerned about this being the most sensitive time.

Knowledgeable advice appreciated.

She should be fine. The worry is with cronic drinking. 3-4 drinks once will not cause problems. If it were 3-4 drinks every day, then that would be a problem.
