Pregnant after an ablation

Hello,

I am 19 weeks pregnant and had an ablation 4 years ago. We found out that I was pregnant when I was already 15 weeks. My doctor has been on holidays and I don't go to see him for another week. Is there anything that I should be doing to help keep my baby and I as safe as possible? I have been researching this but cannot find any information on it.

Well, first congratulations. There is not a lot of information regarding the effects of endometrial ablation on future pregnancies.

I worry about the blood supply to the placenta, so I would suggest ultrasound exams throughout pregnancy to periodically check on the fetal growth.

Because there is a decrease in endometrium and possibly blood supply, there is the risk of a baby not getting enough nutrients.

When I go for my next ultra sound I believe my doctor has it written down for them to check the measurement of my lining. Is this the same thing as the blood flow? I am getting bigger so I am hoping that baby is growing nicely.
