So am a little over 6 weeks pregnant with my second and I am feeling like I am already "showing" a little. It seems like more than just bloating. Some of my clothes are already too tight! Has anyone else out there experienced this with their second? With my first I was able to wear my regular clothes until about 16 weeks.

At six weeks, the baby is still way to small to cause you to show. It's probably just bloating but since your muscles aren't as firm as they were for your first one, it seems like more.

I hear ya! Though tbkittycat is right, it certainly seemed like I was showing a lot sooner the second time around! I was only about 10 weeks when I found out and I had to bust out the belly band because it was just too uncomfortable to button my pants!

Of course, my oldest was 3 and I didn't totally get back into shape from before. The funny thing was I was actually doing the Jillian Michaels 30 day shred and was about 2/3 of the way through the program and instead of noticing results, I noticed not being able to button my pants! I was really miffed, and of course, come to find out, I was prego.

Yes, in reality I do realize it's too soon to be "showing". I just can't believe how bloated I am!! So far everything is different with this pregnancy.......Guess that's just the way it is!

I felt the same way - I just said screw it and embraced the "bump". The majority of people aren't familiar with how bellies are supposed to look during which stage of pregnancy so I didn't really care, I just wanted to be comfortable!

But it really is strange how drastically things can change from one pregnancy to the next. With my first I didn't even need maternity clothes until about 6 months!! This time, I was perusing the maternity racks before I had even hit 3 months. But like you said, I guess that's just the way it is!
