I'm 10 weeks into my second pregnancy. Three years ago I was diagnosed with herpes. I woke up this morning 10/1/2012 to the start of a breakout. Anyways I would bleed/spot then it goes away then it comes back then it goes away.....I wasn't bleeding last night. Is this a normal occurance during pregnancy and or herpes breakouts during pregnancy? I did talk to my doctor she said it was safe for me to take Valtrex...The bleeding/spotting concerns me though.

Spotting/light bleeding is common in early pregnancy. It's only a problem if it's heavy and/or accompanied by severe cramps.
