I'm 8 months pregnant and my general/family doctor gave me Amoxicillin. I was wondering if it's going to affect my baby and is it safe?

Amoxicillin should be safe to take while pregnant. I was given the antibiotic while pregnant and my baby is fine.

The other individual is absolutely correct. Amoxicillin is considered a safe medication/antibiotic to take during pregnancy.

The question is what are you taking it for. Sinus infections, great medication. for urinary tract infections, not so much any more.
