First prenatal app. and a call back the next morning?
DearAshleigh posted:
I am 18 with my first child on the way, 8 weeks and 3 days along. The nurse said that the baby was 100% healthy from looking at the ultrasound. But this morning I had a missed call and a voicemail from my doctor's office saying that they had my test results. I went through all of the normal tests, if that helps. I just want them to hurry and call me back; does anyone have any thoughts on what they could be calling me about? I know most people, if they even get a call, receive theirs a week or two after their exam. I just found it weird I got my results the next morning. Help?

Hi Ashleigh -

Congratulations! I am sorry this has you concerned but it's difficult to guess what they could be calling about. You may want to post on our 1st Trimester Community to connect with other moms-to-be in your same stage.

Good morning, I want to let you know that it depends on the test and when you got it done. If it was blood work and you got it done in the morning then it is not uncommon to recieve results the next morning. Now if you had swabs done like a pap smear or even a urine culture then yes it would take a week or two to get results in. Good luck hope this helps you
