Driving & Pregnancy

Is it safe for a woman to drive when she is 8 - 9 months pregnant?
tlkittycat1968 responded:
As long as she can fit behind the steering wheel, reach the pedals, and wear her seatbelt, it's perfectly safe. I drove to my own doctor's appointment when I was 37 weeks pregnant.

My daughter is expecting her first baby Feb. 8ish and I am just concerned as this is her first and worried about contractions and being behind wheel
tlkittycat1968 replied to hysbyotch's response:
As long as she isn't in danger of going into labor early, there's no danger. Like I said, I drove at 37 weeks pregnant.
hysbyotch replied to tlkittycat1968's response:
My daughter's first pregnancy and I am worried if she is behind wheel of MY car and and if a contraction starts or her water breaks I am afraid she will panic.
