Pain in upper abdomen
avatar
Ohjenny85 posted:
I am currently 34 weeks pregnant. I have had a very severe pain for months in my upper abdomen on my right side, under the breast but a more towards the center. It does seem to be the most severe when sitting up, with some relief when I am lying down or standing up. The area is very sensitive to touch as well. Doctors have said that it is probably normal due to the growing baby. However, I have just received lab results and the only abnormal things were Alk Phos 174, White Count 11.1, and Sed Rate 51. It was noted that these levels may go up due to pregnancy but I have read about Cholestasis and wonder if that is a possibility?
