False positive pregnancy test?
An_249643 posted:
Okay, so here's my story; I never got my period last month, and a couple days ago I took a pregnancy test and it came up positive, and to cut it short, I've taken 5 different pregnancy tests and they're all coming up positive. But before this, my cervix was slightly inflamed by a slight infection from my birth control (I've been off it for several months). For one week I was using an antibiotic cream called Clindamycin phosphate because I had my cervix cauterized, now I'm pretty sure that I'm pregnant, I've had some symptoms like nausea, and my nipples are darker and my breasts feel swollen but not sore.
Is there any way this could be a false positive

False positives are pretty rare and five are pretty much impossible. Congrats, you're pregnant.
