I went off the NuvaRing in October after being on it for about 8 years because my husband and I are trying to get pregnant. I had a period on November 15, but then didn't get a period in December. I took many urine tests and I was not pregnant. The ob/gyn prescribed Provera to take for 10 days and I did but I am very concerns about this because of all of information I found on the internet. I still took the pills because I figured that they wouldn't precribe me something that was bad for me right? They said that I would get my period the day after I was done taking the pills and that would be Day 1, but I haven't yet. When I first called them I asked for a blood test to confirm I wasn't pregnant but they said they didn't need to do one. I have had no symptoms of pregnancy, but it still concerns me they prescribed me Provera without even seeing me. Any information about this to help ease my mind would be great!
