I understand that people post the basic things about being pregnant or not. But I would like to ask something in particular about it.

You see, my fiance has a late period of about 2-3 months now. She is experiencing back and stomach pain, (but she had it prior to her actually getting her period before). She took a pregnancy test and it came out negative and she will be taking one again soon. But she has been stressing out for quite awhile because she works 2 jobs, early mornings to sometimes late in the day, and she goes to school as well. Also, her schedule was like this for 2-3 years now. I am thinking that reason for her really late period is due to stress and her lack of eating. She does not eat much cause of her work and school wears her out at times. And also she sometimes does not get enough sleep.

But as usual, when she has a missed period for this long, I wonder if she is pregnant or not. So, can anyone please give me expert advice as to what is going on?

Has she lost weight? Oftentimes, if a woman is too thin, she will not have a period because her body knows she is not healthy enough to carry a baby.

No, she is curvy but has not lost any weight. She has taken 2 tests and still negative. Her cramps are gone, or at least the big ones are, but still no period yet. Last time she had her period it was almost 2 months late. I am assuming that it is just stress cause her breasts are still the same size and it has not changed color. I am just worried about her.

I would honestly say its just stress. I know I have always been irregular with my periods and I went to my doctor because my husband and I wanted to start trying to have kids. He put me on Metiformn (spelling) which helps regulates hormones which helps regulates periods. You might want her to go see a doctor and have them check her for PCOS which is what causes the irregular periods. About a month after taking the medicine I became pregant. So if you two are trying that would be the first step I would take. If you guys arent and your just worried, tell her to relax and stop taking so many test. Because stress can affect cycles as well.

That is what I had been thinking as well. I mean we do want a child together but in like 2-3 years from now. Thank you thou. We are just concerned cause if it is not her being pregnant, then it has to be a medical condition.....
