My husband and I are talking about having a child, we have 2 children but both were c-sections. The first was an emergency c-section, and the 2nd was well I was afraid of almost losing him. 8 years have gone by, and we are looking to try for our baby in about one year. Is it possible to have a vaginal delivery after 2 c-sections?

depends on whether or not your doctor will even let you do it. some insurance won't cover it if you've already had prior c sections. there is always a possibility but it could be dangerous with having 2 prior c sections. sorry i couldn't give you better news but good luck with #3!!

It is certainly worth the conversation with your MD; although, it may be considered medically indicated to follow-up with another cesarean. Remember that the uterus is a muscle- it does weaken with each incision - uterine contractions during labor may be seen as too risky.

Good Luck!
