8 week ultra sound no hb seen

First ill start out by saying I had 2 miscarriages last year. My husband and I found out in march I was pregnant again. I went in for my 8 wk u/s and they saw no hb. I said I wanted a second opinion. I went to get that next morning with a fetal medicine specialist and he said he too did not see a hb and no blood flow either going through baby. I was devastated but still did not want to believe it. No one has taken any blood tests and I have no symptoms of miscarriage at all. In fact I still have my pregnancy symptoms. I was told to schedule a d&c but honestly I just don't want to do it! I have one last u/s on the 1st of may to make 100% sure before I make anymore decisions. Has this happened to anyone else? Am I stupid to hold out hope?

First, I am so sorry for all that you have been through.

Second, I will tell you, that I still had all of my pregnancy symptoms with my miscarriage, as well.

As far as the D&C, I suppose, if it were me, I would wait for this last u/s before making any decisions.
The OB I was seeing, at the time of my miscarriage, allowed me to hold out for quite a while, before we scheduled a D&C. In fact, she told me that she has not seen a more "patient" patient, with regards to trying to let everything pass naturally.
