Could i be pregnant?
nonpareth posted:
About 3 days ago, (4/21/13) I had rough intercourse with my boyfriend. We've had sex many of different times before this but this was the first time it was rough. I do not take birth control and we don't use condoms.

After having intercourse and going home about a couple hours later I realized that I had blood in my underwear. I figured I was starting my period but it seemed unusual because what was in my underwear was little specks of blood not a whole lot but it was really light almost pink colored.

Just in case it was my period I had put in a tampon for the night. When I took it out in the morning there was hardly anything in there so I figured it was just from rough-ish sex. I decided not to put another one in.

Then about 6 hours later around noon yesterday I went to the bathroom and when I wiped I had looked at the TP to check and I was bleeding again it was still light.

I put in a panty liner (light pad) for the rest of the day and saw how that would go. By night there was nothing on it, but I had changed it and went to bed.

I woke up this morning 7:26 am and it was covered in blood, I was a bit alarmed as to see that as my last period was of 4/6-4/13.(I checked my calendar). So I'm in my Mid-Cycle I shouldn't have my next one till about May 11th.

I changed the liner and put in a tampon, when I had changed it an hour ago I believe what it was that I saw was just normal discharge mixed within the blood the been almost no tissues just discharge.

He's only the 2nd guy I've been with (was my 2nd time as well at the time we got together), and were both clean. I'm not really sure what to do, could I possibly be pregnant? And I'm having a miscarriage? I've not taken a test, he always pulls out but that doesn't mean anything, cause it can still happen... actually a couple weeks ago he pulled out a bit late... and well I've had some minor cramps not like period cramps, I've been feeling pretty nauseated lately, and have been craving lots of food, also the smell of some things are bothering me, and my boobs are sore and tender, im also getting some stomach and lower back pain. which has never happened before when it comes to starting my period. If I am pregnant Ill consult my doctor but I've not a clue if I am and you can't do the pregnancy test when you're bleeding therefore I don't know what to do.

It's way too early for any pregnancy symptoms or even a miscarriage. It takes 6-10 days for a fertilized egg to implant and begin producing the pregnancy hormone that causes symptoms.

My opinion, the bleeding may have been from the rough sex. If it continues, you might want to see a doctor.

BTW, you can do a pregnancy test when you're bleeding. Blood won't affect the test.

Sounds like things got too rough. It is way to early for anything to hae happened. If you continue bleeding like that I would check with your doctor. I had a friend who actually had a tear from rough sex and she was bleeding.
