I have my period every 5th of the month I had a miscarriage four months ago. this month it came a week late and wasn't normal . when I went to the bathroom and wiped it was bright red and then when I woke up the next morning nothing but two dots smaller then a dime was their and It was brown then the next day I didn't wear a pad/tampon and nothing for a few days then bright red blood no less then a nickel then nothing but two spots of brown the next morning bright red when I wiped then nothing. was that my period or ovulation ?

I would say that you had a light period; most likely your body still coming together after your miscarriage - even if you have already had a normal cycle since you miscarried.
