Is tea safe during pregnancy?
Dacaria posted:
I love chai oolong tea, I drink a cup in the morning and a cup at bed. I just found out that I'm pregnant, so can I still drink the tea? I've read that the tea has caffeine in it and I don't want to risk anything.
Zoegreen responded:
It is OK,but not too thick.
Mrscolston0731 replied to Zoegreen's response:
Be careful, I am a huge tea drinker myself 5 mos pregnany myself and figured I was doing ok since im not a pop drinker, However my Dr told me to check for caffeine, and was surprised to see A lot of teas have it in there. Caffeine he told he is ok in moderation..
tlkittycat1968 responded:
You should be fine. Pregnant women are told to drink caffeine in moderation during pregnancy and one cup of tea is definitely excessive.
