Late Period, Protected Sex. Am i Pregnant?
MermaidsCove posted:
Hello, I am a sexually active 18 year old girl. I always have protected sex with my boyfriend and are very diligent in doing so. After intercourse we always check the condom for holes by filling it with water or running our fingers through it. Even during intercourse we constantly check the condom to make sure it hasn't ripped or slipped off. A condom has never broke once. He has never ejaculated inside of me even with a condom, and has always pulled out when he felt the sensation about to happen. My amount of days between finishing and starting a new period ranges anywhere from 20-24 days. I have always been irregular for as long as I've been receiving my period. Today I am nine days late. I have been late in the past for at most 2-5 days at a time, but never this late. I am stressing about this very much, which is probably prolonging my period further. I have been getting this odd bloated and sore feeling in my ovary for the past four days, which feels like a period sign, but yet again I am not sure. I am not on birth control and I'm extremely afraid to take a test. I just don't know what to do. [br>[br>Please respond this is quite urgent, Thank you

I would say with the precautions you take chances of pregnancy are very slim. You may just be late or you might not have ovulated, both of which are common.

I got my period. Wound up being 11 days late, better late than never!
