    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

Keep an eye here and on your email inbox, we'll be back in touch soon to give you all the information you need!

    Yours in health,

Had surgery a few days ago and did not know I was pregnant

I'm 21 and I had to get my wisdom teeth removed. A few days before I took a pregnancy test to make sure and it came out negative so I didn't worry about it. On the day of the surgery, before the doctor put me under general anesthesia he kept asking if I was pregnant. I told him there was a slight chance but I had gotten a negative and was showing no real symptoms. I got the surgery and it went fine and I've been taking hydrocodon/acetameniphen 325mg. 3 days after I felt a little funny and in the back of my mind I told myself to take another test and its a positive. I can't help but feel terrified that I could have hurt the baby.

I would talk to you OB when you go in for your appointment. Maybe take in the dentist chart notes with you so the Dr can see what happened.
