    shoulder and neck pain
    rowdyazell posted:
my daughter is pregnant (26 weeks) she does not have insurance so doesn't want to go to urgent care. yesterday she called me and said she had some neck and shoulder pain and thought it was a pinched nerve. We talked about it and she iced it, then applied heat. then did it again 3hours later, then again just before bed. When she woke up this morning she said the pain is worse, and hurts her ear and when she swallows.
She has been doing some rearranging in her kitchen, so it is possible to be muscle pain, but I am concerned. Could someone please tell me if it's a normal muscle thing, or not?
This is her 4th pregnancy. She lost her third child in the 17th week of pregnancy.

Her ear hurting and it hurting when she swallows is not normal muscle pain. She needs to see a doctor.
