Might be pregnant on Implanon

Hi there, I have Implanon but I am experiencing pretty serious pregnancy symptoms. Morning sickness, my stomach is swollen and tight , dizziness, and no period. I have had a normal period the entire time I have had it up until the past two months. I am on my second round with Implanon, so I have had it for almost 5 years. I have never experienced these symptoms before. Is this normal? My at home pregnancy test is negative but I have heard that Implanon will give you false negatives, is this true?

Hello,

Here is a list of side effects associated with Implanon. Nausea, cramping, bloating and dizziness are all listed. You should make an appointment with your obgyn for a proper diagnosis and to confirm whether or not you are pregnant. Please let us know how you are doing.

Best wishes,
Atti
