    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

Keep an eye here and on your email inbox, we'll be back in touch soon to give you all the information you need!

    Yours in health,
    WebMD Message Boards Management

    Hi desaraesky,

I think that this is something that you should discuss with both your OB and dentist, as the answer may differ from person-to-person and pregnancy-to-pregnancy. Oral health is very important during pregnancy so discussing these things with your dentist is important -- here is more information on the subject.

    Best wishes,
    Atti

Hi there, when I got pregnant with my daughter the first thing that my OB told me was not to wear my retainers or anything even braces because I might eat some parts and get choked. She also told me that anything that will fall off inside my mouth (even if it is an accident) is not allowed because of the danger that might happen. Or, if better ask also with your OB about it. And I just wanted to share with you a site that could help you calculate your due date and more which is just for free. God Bless.
