First, congrats!!

Throwing up is normal -- and I can tell you from experience, that brushing teeth can bring on the urge to throw up. First trimester can be brutal that way. And your abdominal pain: is it like cramping, or a sharp pain? Some cramping is pretty normal.

If you've picked out a doctor, you can call the office and ask your questions to his/her nurse -- they are really used to getting calls from worried pregnant moms! But a little pain, and throwing up, sounds like the first trimester experience. If the pain gets to be worse than cramping, or if you bleed, definitely call the doctor though.

You can try getting/borrowing from the library "What to Expect When You're Expecting." It will help out and keep you from freaking out over normal stuff (though you will freak out plenty anyway) and keep you from calling your doctor every twenty minutes. But yes, vomiting is normal. If it's yellow it might be something you ate/drank beforehand or bile. Cramping is normal as well. If you see any spotting/bleeding, contact your physician, though slight spotting is normal for implantation (occurs 6-12 days after conception).
