Am I pregnant???

Ok we have been ttc for atleast 5mths now with no luck my 1st day of my last period was FEB 21st ovulation days were Mar4-7 made sure it happened on a fertile day ... last weekend which would have been implantion i was cramping so symptoms as follows ... sore tender breasts,strong sense of smell,extreme fatiuge,terrible heartburn even without eating something,mood swings,hungry all the time the calendar says I can test tomorrow but i bought a cheap dollar tree test do you think it will still work??

Yes a dollar store tests have the same chemicals and enzymes as a expensive name brand tests does. The only difference is the cost and name(s). All tests have to pass strict testing to be sold as pregnancy tests.
All tests should come with a instruction pamphlet that tells you everything you need to know about the test and how to use it. It should tell you how sensitive it is and how accurate it is for the day you are testing.
Like fore example those early pregnancy test that you can take up to 6 days before your expected period; if you actually read the instructions that come with it it will say that the accuracy of the test is only 40% when done that early. Not like the 99% accuracy you can have as early as the day after you miss your period.
So don't be to disappointed if you get a negative when you test; you could just be testing to early. Just wait until after you miss your period by a least 3 days and then try re-test with 1st morning urine.

I have had a very similar experience. My 1st day of my last peiod was FEB 23 and ovulatin was March 3-8. I also had cramping on CD18 and CD20! I only have sore breasts (a little more than usual) and I am a little more tired but I work all the time and these symptoms are very similar to the symptoms I experience before my period. Please keep us informed about what you find out tomorrow morning. My period is due March 22....I hope it doesn't come!

Well I took a test this morning and it was no but Im gonna buy one of those early response test b/c the test I took is for after u miss a period and mine is supposed to start on the 21st so... hopefully I will go out and get a 5days before test and maybe it will be a plus hopefully good luck girls let me know what happens when yall take yours

well i just went out and bought a first response and took it this evening and it was a NEG so my period is supposed to start on sunday if it doesnt im gonna test prob monday this sucks cause it says 6 days before ur missed period but my friend was like dont worry maybe you dont have enough hormones yea yea so i hope you AF doesnt come rach and let me know if you decide to take urs early it would be my luck i would start tomorrow though

Yeah, all it does is discourage you. Your heart knows what's best for you, so listen to it. Mine is telling me not to test until Tuesday. Last time i tested was Thursday. If still negative, i'll test in another week. I wish you the absolute best. Sounds like we're in the exact same boat. I'm trying not to think about it for the last 2-3 days. The truth will come out somewhere, some time.

I have read though that your hcg hormones double with every day you are pregnant. Maybe your levels just arent high enough yet. Best of luck!!

On friday I still had not started. I took a test only to find it negitive. It wasnt unitl 4 days after my missed period (and 19 days after ovulation) we finally got a positive and we are now 7 weeks. This I found strange. I was so anxious with my first baby I took a test 5 days before my period and it was positive that early, so you can see why I was dissappionted taking this one 2 days after missed period.
