    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

Keep an eye here and on your email inbox, we'll be back in touch soon to give you all the information you need!

    Hi folks!

The members here and I have noticed we have been getting a lot of folks coming to this board asking "Could I Be Pregnant?".

This Pregnancy board is here for women who are ALREADY pregnant and have questions for the expert and other members about their pregnancy.

The expert here cannot tell you whether you could be pregnant via an online forum. There are a lot of factors involved. However, you can get some excellent member feedback on the WebMD Could I Be Pregnant community.

Once you've confirmed your pregnancy, we encourage you to come back to this board for member and expert feedback, or join in on our Pregnancy: First Trimester board to find a group of friends who will follow you through your whole pregnancy and beyond into our Parenting communities.

    Good luck!

Thank you! I just found out this morning (haven't even seen a doctor yet) that I am pregnant. I went out this weekend for my bachelorette party and then yesterday (Monday) went under for a quick procedure. I didn't use general anesthesia - i'm not sure of the name of it but all i can remember is that it is the "Michael Jackson" drug (which obviously is seriously controled when you go under for a 30 minute procedure. I am calling my doctor today, but am so nervous from my celebration at the bachelorette party and yesterday happenings. How bad is this for my baby. I am been taking test after test and all negative except this one this morning. And i'm trying not to stress, but it makes me so nervous.

You should be fine. The placenta doesn't develop until around week 12 or so and until then, the embryo is feeding off it's own yolk sack.
