My doctor told me yesterday that she saw "bleeding outside of the sac" on my ultrasound results. She said it can lead to a miscarrige but isn't uncommon. What is this exactly? What are my chances of miscarrying? I can't find very much info out on other sites.

Sounds like what I have a subchorionic hemmorage it can lead to miscarriage but you can also have a perfectly normal pregnancy with no issues. If they aren't concered about it then dont be. If it's small then the chances of it rupturing are minimal. Here is an article that explains it, if this is what you have.
