    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

Keep an eye here and on your email inbox, we'll be back in touch soon to give you all the information you need!

    Yours in health,
    WebMD Message Boards Management

Congratulations on your BFP! Welcome to YOUR community!

Hi, I'm a mom to be in Charleston Sc. I'm due 1/12/2011 and we moved here 4 yrs ago. I have a lot of new freinds here but my husband are the only ones who are ready to have children. I'm concerned it will be hard to make friends with others who have children our age that we are compatible with. Any suggestions?

Check with your hospital to see if they offer postpartum luncheons, support groups or opportunities for new moms to network.

Our local hospital offers a luncheon every Tuesday for moms and babies up to 12 weeks. The friendships and connections I made have continued through the years!

Also, check for local Moms groups or MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) groups.
