    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

Keep an eye here and on your email inbox, we'll be back in touch soon to give you all the information you need!

    Yours in health,
    WebMD Message Boards Management

Congratulations on your BFP! Welcome to YOUR community!

So I'm 3 days late and i decided to take pregnancy test and it came out positive, i know we have been trying but no luck yet until now :-) I'm never late my cycles are always right on to a T. I'm probably going to take another test in a few days but I guess my question is when do i make a doctor's appointment? I'm not sure who to ask because we don't want to tell family yet and get anyones hopes up and I don't have anyone to talk to, to help me with these questions, so if anyone out there can help, PLEASE!

I say make it now. You've already missed your menstrual cycle and if you're normally always on time then I definitely think it's time to call your OB.

    Best of luck!

Congratulations!! You can call your doctor as soon as you want. Some practices will want to see you right away to confirm the pregnancy. My OB doesn't see patients until they're 8-9 weeks for the first appointment. Either way, you can get something set up.
