I am due June 12 (according to the online due date predictor). My birthday is June 19, so that would be awesome! I have my first doctor appointment on Oct. 21 and I can't wait! I kind of want that assurance that yes, you are pregnant, and yes, everything is ok. The only symptom I've had is the sore/sensitive breasts and some light cramps last week, but they have since gone away. And I'm SO tired!Just ten more days until your first appointment. Do you think you're having another girl, or are you guessing boy this time?
We've only got a few June Mommies so far, but this thread will be picking up soon.
Try to sneak in naps if you can to help with the fatigue.

We're in the middle of moving 3 hours away, so I don't have my first appointment set up becuase I don't even have a doctor yet! I'm kind of bummed about having to find a new OB, because I absolutely LOVE mine. I'm almost willing to make the 3hr drive to my appointments. We also have to wait for DH's insurance to kick in, which isn't until Nov 1. So I am anxiously awaiting that first appointment. With DS I had my first appointment at 6 weeks, so this is like torture for me!

I have to change doctors, too! My doctor moved out of state, but at least now I get to have a woman doctor...I kind of prefer a woman
I'm excited to meet her next Friday. I can't even remember--what do they do at the first appointment (I'll be six weeks)? It's mostly paper work right? Will we listen for a heartbeat, or is that too early? I asked my husband if he wants to come, but if I remember right, the first one doesn't have much going on.
This is my first and DH and I tried so long and so hard for this pregnancy
My first appointment is with the fertility specialist at 8 weeks (but no, we did it naturally incase you're wondering)... then I have an ultrasound booked for 9.5 week check-up. I really hope we can hear the heart beat then, that would be incredible! My EDD is June 11th and my first appt is Nov. 14th.
Since this is my first child, I am still worried about a miscarriage and when to tell people, but all around very excited!
Not sure what to expect at my first appointment?

I booked my first appointment for November 10th and was told I'd be having an ultrasound and IPS testing. I don't know much about the IPS testing but the nurse on the phone said it was important for determining the chances of neural tube defects. So I know to expect that much! Otherwise I'm in the same boat... taking this as it comes.
As for timing, DH and I are waiting the full 12 weeks before we break the news to friends and family. I told my boss only because I didn't want her thinking badly of me falling asleep at my desk or taking lots of bathroom breaks!
So many different symptons than before. For the last three weeks, I can't sleep more than 3 hours at a time and I wake up really early.
My name is Lauren and I just found out I am expecting this morning! It has been such a long journey... I have a beautiful 4-year-old daughter and my husband and I have been trying to get pregnant again since she was about 2. I had a miscarriage at 6 weeks in June 2010 and have been trying to get pregnant again ever since. I tried 6 months of Clomid, but it did not have any effect on me, so I took 2 months off - and here I am pregnant! Guess I didn't need the medicine after all!
The craziest thing is that my daughter was born on my birthday, and the due date for this one is the SAME!! June 21, 2012. That would be such a miracle if I shared a birthday with both of my children!!
Congrats to all of you and I cannot wait to go through this experience with you all!

My EDD is June 12th!! I was a bit shocked to find out we were expecting since we were told we would have trouble having children. I have two boys an 8 year old and a 6 year old from a preivious relationship. Im a bit nervous about how my boys will take to their new lil brother or sister since it has been just them for so many years. Im very excited and nervous at the same time. It has been so long I almost feel as if this is my first pregnancy!! I hope everyone has a healthy next 8 months

I just turned 36 on Sept 30, and had my annual physical the same day. I asked my Dr. about maybe trying something to help us get pregnant, not knowing that I already was!!! I got a test on Sunday the 9th of October, so I'm about 5 weeks now.
DH will be 41 in December, and on New Years' Eve, we will have been married 13 years. Our oldest daughter is 8 1/2 and loving 3rd grade, and our youngest daughter is 4 1/2 and loves preschool.
I just am so excited for #3, and truth be told - would be totally ecstatic about a boy. But just as long as the baby is healthy, we will be happy.
So congrats again - let's all have a healthy & happy 9 months!
