Too Soon To Tell?
LiMaEv posted:
I took a pregnancy test last night and it came back positive (I was about 6 days late ... we were on vacation for a week and I had taken a test before leaving which had come back negative.) My last period started 11/3. I may not be able to get into the OB til after Christmas, but we want to tell our parents at Christmas. This is our first pregnancy and I'm worried about telling them too soon. At the same time, we will all be together for Christmas and would much rather tell in person than over the phone. Thoughts?

Since you have had a and - test result, I wouldnt tell the family till you get a forsure from your doctor.

Good luck!!!

Thanks for the feedback. The negative test was taken about 4 days before expected missed period. Trying to get in with at least a nurse before Christmas. I guess we are just excited/anxious, but want to be careful all the same!

OOOH exciting! Well I tested negative the day I was due for my period, so I waited 3 more days and got a positive. I would call your dr and ask for them to do blood work pregnancy test to confirm. Then you can share the news with your family, b/c the results should be in the next day!

With both of my pregnancies I told people right away...I can't keep my mouth shut! LOL!

Good luck!!
