No gestational sac at 6 weeks TVS
    VinaySwati posted:
Hi, I was very happy when I tested positive for pregnancy on 4th Feb. I was put on folic acid and progesterone supplements.Later after a week, I had minor bleeding after which I was given a progesterone injection followed by a TVS scan the following day.I am very much sure that I am 6 week pregnant as my last MC was on 1 jan 2012.The technician was not able to see any gestational sac, he just found thick fuzzy contoured endometrium. My doc asked me to discontinue progesterone tab and said that I will have a miscarriage:( . Its 3 days since I am off on my progesterone tabs and have not had even a slight bleeding. Can I still have hopes?

Hi there and so sorry for what you are going through..this is just a thought but since you m/c on January 1st '12 and tested positive on February 4th '12 is it not possible that the positive was not from a new pregnancy but from the old one? Drs usually recommend waiting a cycle before conceiving again so to be safe you should of had your cycle in February..after my m/c last summer it took 5 weeks to get my cycle back..pregnancy hormones tend to take a while sometimes to go back to 0 so maybe the test just picked up the old hormones which would explain why they cannot see anything on a scan..
This is just a thought and I do hope for the best for you..let us know how it turns out

Thank you so much for your reply dear.... I was wondering if there are still chances of having this baby , may be its slow grower or something... Or do you feel that this preg is going to drop in few more days.Plz be realistic.
    vybe77 replied to VinaySwati's response:
I honestly could not tell you how this will turn out but I have a strong feeling that if there is still nothing on scan the next time they check that my 1st idea might just be right..again I hope you get great news the next time you see your Dr.
Do you know when that will be??
    VinaySwati replied to vybe77's response:
Hey.... I had been to the Doc on 18th Feb and had an TVS scan, and hurrey..!! The Dr. was able to see a tiny sac and she said that it is jus 4 weeks baby not a 6 week one. She said we will see for other two weeks and have a scan again to confirm whether the baby has grown to be a 6 week one, if yes then I will have a perfectly normal pregnancy or ........

I still do have hopes so I will wait and pray. Do the same for me plz

I am so happy that I was wrong lol!! Congrats..I too ended up having a surprise u/s to see if all was ok..even though my HCG was only at 500 the Dr. wanted to take a peak..and even though nothing is usually seen at that low of an HCG reading we saw a 3mm sac!! Isn't it the best to see that..did you see anything in the sac? We did not yet and I was 5 weeks along so BB was 3 weeks along..the Dr. said it was too early for that...cannot wait for my 1st appt.
    Congrats again!!
    VinaySwati replied to vybe77's response:
Even I was not able to see anything, just a tiny sac. I have next appointment on 1st March, so eagerly waiting for that with fingers crossed.I just hope, everything just turns out all fine and I may hear the heart beat too. Congratulations ...!! We happen to be in the same page

Hi dear .. I am so sorry abt ur loss too...

It is very difficult for me to come out of it, so I hit back to work.I am trying to keep myself as busy as possible to divert my mind from all the trauma I went through.

My husband'd been quite a pillar off support but sometimes gets frustrated with my emotional outbreaks and anger bouts.I hope everything becomes as normal as possible sooner. Thank you so much for hugs.. I need them
