    Hey,
When dh and I started trying for our first, I could not get preggo. We went to a specialist, who made us meet with a genetic therapist. She sat there and said that my age would have no effect, but his was the problem. Then, we went back to my high risk dr and he told us that dh's age had nothing to do with it and that the problem was me. I totally agree with the high risk dr over the therapist, look at all of the famous men who have babies at 70 . Yes, men can have problems, but in most cases, if they are healthy and they have a healthy sperm count, they can still produce babies. Have you seen a specialist or anything? The first time we saw the high risk dr, he made us both have blood tests done and made dh do a sperm count. I ended up having to go on shots for six months bc after they did the tests, they found that I really was not fertile. After six months, we had to wait two months before we could even start trying. We started trying in late Sept and found out I was preggo at the end of Nov. They also have tests you can buy to see when is best to try. I'm not sure how accurate those are, but you might want to look into one. GL!

just to add a not as to what leecar579 said... those tests are called ovulation tests you can buy them at almost any store... and they were very accurate for me! Though i had to use clomid and and ovidrel shot.... Hopefully It doesn't take you 2 years like it did me... and I was only 21 when i started trying... It can happen! Just keep at it, don't quit, and see the dr. ater 6 months of trying! GOOD LUCK!
