Hi all! I am new here again.. I was here about 7 months ago but *triggs* we ended up losing our daughter around 21 weeks to a chromosomal defect. We weren't actively trying again yet , but we planned on it. I am due 1/26/12. Just wanted to introduce myself! First tri was rough on my last time so I am hoping it is not AS bad this time.

I hope its not too bad for you. I've had some nausea but no throwing up thank god! My nephew was sick after eating too many plums and my mom joked that he had my morning sickness. lol. I'm due same time but it is my first so freaking out about every little thing. Good Luck

Hi! My name is Opemi and I am 8 weeks pregnant with our second child. I just want to ask if there is any solution to vomitting. Mine is very serious and I have lost a lot of weight. Popular prescriptions don't seem to work for me. What are your experiences please?

Lurking from 2nd Tri....

I have had HG with all my pregnancies. This time around the Zofran (8 mg) did not start working until I was 10-11 weeks along. I was taking it every morning around 6 am and then taking Phenegran as needed throughout the day. My MW said that zofran is the type of meds that has to build up in your system, so if you have that now then take it around the same time everyday. It will get better! I was finally able to stop taking it last week. The bathroom side affects were killing me lol. I have small bouts of nausea if I if I get hungry but other than that things are looking good! Good luck!
