Hello all,

I'm currently 8 1/2 weeks and have been experiencing EXTREME HUNGER! Last night I woke up 3 times in the middle of the night to eat. This is mentally, physically and emotionally exhausting.

Did this end for any of you already? When?

Do you have any tips to combat this issue?

Welcome BeautifullyBlessed!

I used to get up in the middle of the night and have a bowl of cereal. I would give your doctors office a call and see if you can speak to a nurse to find out if you need to go in and see your doctor.

I found a discussion from a few years ago about other First Tri moms-to-be who experienced hunger. Click the link here to read some suggestions: Cure for Excessive 1st Tri Hunger?

Thanks Haylen.

I found out I wasn't drinking enough water...that's why I was up so many times in the middle of the night.

The next day I drank my 8 glasses of water and I only have to wake up once in the middle of the night to eat. I have yogurt with blueberries and strawberries in it and it holds me until morning.

Next goal: Sleeping through the night without having to eat at all...if that's possible?

Thanks for sharing and I'm glad it helped. I hope you're able to sleep straight through before too long.

Of course, pretty soon you'll be getting up because your LO wants to eat
