Over the past week she has taken 3 HPT, all of which came out positive.
Today she went to her OBGYN, who did a test but said the results were very light. Then proceeded to tell her she was almost 5 weeks.
Anyone every been told this before? Is it because she is still early in her pregnancy? Now my friend is very nervous. My OBGYN didnt see me until I reached atleast 8 weeks as other people I know where the same.
Any advice would be great....thank you.
HCG levels are what determines a positive or negative test. If you look at the chart on that site, you'll see that hcg levels don't really jump until 7-8 weeks of pregnancy. It's just early!
