    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

Keep an eye here and on your email inbox, we'll be back in touch soon to give you all the information you need!

    Hi ladies!

I was just wondering if anybody now has too much phlegm/mucus?

TMI...Every morning, I have to spit up and sometimes throw up phlegm and mucus...it comes from my throat and I have to blow my nose. For about 15-20 minutes in the morning and when I am hungry, I spit and gag up the phlegm and mucus.

It is sooo annoying. Does anybody know what causes this and how to stop it?

I have the same problem and I use the breathe right nasal strips and that seems to help with the stuffy nose. I'm not sure if there is much that can be done, it's just one of those wonderful pregnancy symptoms. Try adding an extra pillow so you are propped up more as you sleep. This should help the mucus drain down your throat into your tummy. It helps me.

    Good luck.
