    Slow rising hcg levels
    Ewych82 posted:
Hi everyone. I'm about 5 weeks along and my hcg levels are not doubling every 48 hours like they should be. My levels are as follows: 5/20- 5pm: 3746 5/22- 12pm: 4131 5/24- 10am: 6227

I had an ultrasound on 3/22 and I was measuring at about 4.5 weeks. They could see an empty sac but no fetal pole or yolk sac yet. I met with my dr today and she feels that my pregnancy will most likely be not successful. My progesterone is on the low end at 7. I asked for progesterone supplements and she gave them to me but stated that she feels it will only prolong a non viable pregnancy. I have an ultrasound scheduled for thursday, so I'm praying that a fetal pole and yolk sac are present.

Has anyone had any experience with any of this?
