    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

Keep an eye here and on your email inbox, we'll be back in touch soon to give you all the information you need!

    Yours in health,
    WebMD Message Boards Management

Congratulations on your BFP! Welcome to YOUR community!

Yep, normal. Light bleeding and period-like cramps are common in early pregnancy. If the cramping becomes very painful or the bleeding becomes heavy, see your doctor ASAP.

You are really pregnant. Bleeding can be normal but not for everyone. If your cramping gets more painful I would go in to see a dr prior to your new ob appt. It never hurts to get a dr opinion esp to put your mind at ease.

My last period was Aug 14 so you must be very close to me. Totally normal to bleed a little. I had some brown spotting for a few days right around when I would have gotten a period. As long as its not heavy and you aren't having painful cramping it's ok. My OB said it was either breakthrough bleeding or implantation bleeding. Congrats! It doesn't seem real to me either. lol!
