    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

Keep an eye here and on your email inbox, we'll be back in touch soon to give you all the information you need!

    Yours in health,
    WebMD Message Boards Management

Congratulations on your BFP! Welcome to YOUR community!

    Healthy Pregnancy Weight Gain

Pregnant at last or Whoa! Surprise! We are having a baby-you still need to decide how to eat during pregnancy. Unfortunately, taking pregnancy as a free pass to eat whatever/whenever doesn't do the baby any good and does you even worse.

Despite the rumors-breastfeeding doesn't magically cause all those pounds to drop in most people-especially if they gained too much weight during pregnancy. If you don't want to spend your baby's first year or 5 on a diet trying to lose the baby weight-keep a handle on it now (unless your doctor recommends something else-for instance if you go into pregnancy underweight)

The resource linked above has some good guidelines on eating for a healthy pregnancy AND tells you where all that weight is going!
