    Best Pregnancy Book

Hey ladies just wanted to let you know about the fantastic pregnancy book I bought. 'Im Pregnant!' by Lesley Regan is so imformative! She is straightforward and gives week by week information on how your baby is growing, how your body is changing and your emotional response. I find it comforting to know you are gtting in depth factual information over a wide array of subjects; breastfeeding, exercise, nutrition, care after birth, the list is endless! I would HIGHLY recommend this book!

I had originally got 'What to Expect WHen Youre Expecting' and threw it away!! It was alarmist and condescending! The cutesy language and puns really irked me as well, I prefer to be spoken to in an intelligent fashion. If you want to hear about all that can go wrong and what you arent 'supposed' to do then I say read this book but if you want a book that gives you factual information about this wonderful journey, 'Im Pregnant' cant be beat.. Hope this helps, I wish someone would have told me sooner!!

You welcome! I loved this one, you can always go to Amazon.com and get peeks inside different books and read reviews. I will be doing that from now on.

I read Jenny McCarthy's book "Belly Laughs" when I was pregnant with my first. I thought it was hilarious. I think I'm going to read it again sometime with this pregnancy. Jenny just really tells you like it is! Also, there is a sequel to the book called "Baby Laughs" about her first year of being a mother. I would definitely reccommend it to you guys :)

I have "Mayo Clinic Guide to a Healthy Pregnancy" and I really like it. It also breaks things down week by week for your baby, your body, and your emotions. It has nice pictures of how the baby is developing and a page at the end of each month saying when to tell your doctor about what symptoms.

I just started "The Girlfriends Guide to Pregnancy" and love it. My bestfriend said that it is a must read, and I believe her since she has a 3 and a 6 year old! :)
The Mayo Clinic book is good too.

I have that book too. I read both books with my first pregnancy. The I'm Pregnant, now what was probably my favorite due to the colored pictures, and the way it was written.
