Help for nausea

KLN777 posted:
Just wanted to share something I've found that is helping a little with the first trimester nausea. During my last pregnancy, ginger and the nausea candies and such did nothing for me. On a whim, tried these peppermint lozenges I found. They are the old fashioned candy type. The ingredients say peppermint oil (not "natural and artificial flavors") and I think that makes the difference. I have seen them a few places so I'm guessing they are pretty standard. They are round, thick, white disks. I have also taken a paper towel with a few drops of peppermint essential oil in the car. Something about the smell of it really helps when the nausea gets extra bad in the car.
