    Choroid Plexus Cyst
    rubygirl82 posted:
I am hoping some of you may have had an experience or know someone who has had an ultra sound come back with the baby having a Choroid Plexus Cyst on the brain. It is a soft marker for Trisomy 18 and Downs. My baby has no other markers and is otherwise completely healthy and "normal". The doctor told me not to lose any sleep over the findings and that in most cases the baby is completely healthy.

My question is to anyone who may know, since the baby has been found to have a CPC, will they take him from me at birth and do tests in the NICU? Or will they be able to determine he is ok right away? It does not matter to me if my baby may have Downs, I just dont want him to be taken from me right away.

I try not to worry and to stay positive but my main concern now is that he might be taken from me. My first baby never left my side except for her bath, I dont know what I would do if my baby was taken to NICU.

    Anyone have any experiences?
