Placenta abruption

Hello, I had a Placenta abruption at 34 weeks in my first pregnancy, no signs other then the sudden onset of bleeding...Thank the lord he is now a healthy 2 year old boy,2 years later I ha a missed miscarriage at 11 weeks and am now trying again, I was assured by my dr that my miscarriage had nothing to do with my placenta abruption, my concern is can I have another placenta abruption and what precautions should I take? Should I be seeing a high risk obstetrician during my next pregnancy?
